Grant-Making

2019 marks the 11th year since our fund set out to empower our community. We realigned our focus back to supporting causes in our community empowering youth and young adults in higher education in Delaware. 

in 2018, the grant committee approved and awarded three grants to organizations making positive change in our community:

• • • $1,500 – TeenSHARP

    • $1,500 – Tennis Rocks Tutoring Program (Nehemiah Gateway CDC)

    • $2,500 – One Village Alliance

The grantmaking focus area for 2019 will be education, and more specifically, higher education access and retention. Grant awards will be up to $2,500, and funding requests should not exceed this amount.

Each grant request must be submitted online through the DCF’s portal at delcf.org/grants. Applications must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., August 31, 2019.
